Order Processing Times

In stock orders ship within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends, holidays, and major sales events. If your order contains lots of quarter-yard cuts, allow an extra day or two for order processing.

For orders containing pre-order items, disregard shipping estimates shown at checkout as those estimates do not apply to any order with pre-orders. Orders containing pre-order items will ship only once everything from your order is available. To avoid shipping delays on in-stock items, place a separate order for the in-stock items. In other words: do not combine pre-orders with in-stock items in the same order unless you are willing to wait.

Orders ship Monday-Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays. Check out our shipping holidays page to see days we do not ship during the year.

Shipping Rates

We use USPS to ship an overwhelming majority of our packages. If you require shipping via UPS or FedEx due to address limitations or personal preference, contact us prior to checking out so we may check pricing for you. Occasionally, we ship orders via UPS, but that is at our discretion.

Shipping rates are based on a combination of package weight, size, and destination. Your rate will be automatically calculated for you at checkout.

Free shipping

Please note that the free shipping threshold order total must be met on each single order. We will not combine shipping on multiple orders to meet the free shipping threshold or refund shipping on subsequent orders.

If your order qualifies for free shipping and your package is returned for any reason, we will not reship your order for free. You will be invoiced to reship your package or offered a refund, minus a 15% restocking fee and all original shipping costs. 

At our discretion, high value orders will require signature confirmation at the time of delivery. If you would like to add signature confirmation on orders $115+, please select Free shipping with signature confirmation at checkout. (You might have to click the down arrow next to shipping to see the option.) While the shipping charge is free for you, the $4 fee is the cost of signature confirmation.

Other shipping information

For those living in apartments, we have seen an increase in lost, misdelivered, and stolen packages, as well as packages returned because an apartment/unit number wasn't entered at checkout. Please ensure your address is complete at checkout.

In addition, we encourage all apartment dwellers to add signature confirmation to your order to ensure you receive your package. We are not responsible for your package once we hand it over to USPS, UPS, or FedEx. For missing USPS packages, you must contact your local branch/office for help in locating it.

Though not listed here, we do ship to USA Territories and to our Armed Forces abroad. Your shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

USA orders that are returned to us or refused for any reason without prior arrangement will not be refunded. Items from your order will be donated to a sewing/quilting charity of our choosing.

International shipping

We love our international customers, but unfortunately at this time, due to constantly evolving tariffs and unexpected postal strikes, we are temporarily suspending international shipping. Please check back often, though, as we are constantly re-evaluating this based on a variety of factors. We hope to get back to international shipping soon.
