New shipping rates in effect

Effective Jan. 27, 2013, USPS will be increasing rates for domestic and international shipping. We've updated this page to reflect these changes and to help you plan your orders better. We will continue to offer fair shipping prices that represent the costs we incur for shipping and packaging. We do not make money on shipping.

Domestic Shipping (USA)

Domestic orders are shipped via USPS within 48 hours, excluding holidays and weekends. Delivery confirmation is included in stated shipping rates, which makes your package trackable within the US. Please see shipping rates below.

During checkout, you will be presented with the shipping options that match the total weight of your order. For example, if your order weighs 10 oz, you will be presented with the option for First Class shipping at $4.50, Priority Mail shipping at $5.95 or Express Mail shipping at $21.00.

International

International packages shipped via USPS do not include delivery confirmation, package tracking or insurance. If you require any of these for your order, please contact us with your order details and shipping requirements so we can prepare a shipping estimate for you.

And like domestic orders (within the US), international orders are based on the total weight of your order as it is shipped.

International buyers are responsible for any and all customs fees/duties/taxes assessed on your package. These fees are not included in your purchase total. Please familiarize yourself with your country's rules and regulations prior to ordering so you understand your obligations once the package arrives.

In a few rare instances, we can ship international orders less expensively than what is indicated during checkout. If you pay significantly more for shipping and handling than our listed rates, we will refund the difference back to you if you pay via Paypal, or simply reduce the charge to your credit card if you choose to pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

During checkout, you will be presented with the shipping options that match the total weight of your order. For example, if your order weighs 10 oz and you're in Canada, you will be presented with the option for First Class shipping at $9.50, Priority Mail shipping at $20.95 or Express Mail shipping at $36.50. First Class shipping is typically the most affordable rate but shipping is slower. Priority Mail is faster than First-Class and Express Mail is faster than Priority. If you need your order very quickly, please select Express.

Returns

Customer happiness is a top priority! If you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know by contacting us via contact form.

Our return guidelines are as follows:

- You can return your fabric purchase for up to 7 days after receipt for a refund. A 10% re-stocking fee will apply. Items must be in original condition. This means it must be uncut, unused, and stain and odor-free. (Here's a tip: When returning fabric, package it in the plastic bag it was sealed in when it was sent to you. This should help protect it from the elements during shipping.)

- Shipping charges are non-refundable (unless we made a mistake).

- Due to copyright laws, patterns, books and magazines may not be returned. Sorry, but there are no exceptions to this rule.

- Clearance fabric (that is, fabric priced at $7 or less per yard) may not be returned. No exceptions.

- Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

Once returned items are received and deemed re-sellable, will we issue a refund via original payment method. Please allow up to 10 days after receipt for your refund to be processed.

Lost or Damaged Packages

We cannot assume responsibility for packages that are lost or damaged during transit. These are factors that are out of our control. If your package is lost, let us know and we'll provide any information that may be available. If you wish to do so, it will be your responsibility to file a claim with the post office.

We will not reship lost or damaged packages.

We strive to ship domestic orders within 48 hours, with the exception of weekends and holidays. (Yes, even we need to take a little time off!) We will observe the following holidays in 2013, and thus will not ship on these days:
