Some seriously silky wovens in the shop

Some seriously silky wovens in the shop

We just received a few bolts of the new Poetry Wovens collection by 3 Sisters, and we're pretty excited about the possibilities. There are four seriously silky prints and a sturdier dot-dobby (with one more dot-dobby on the way soon).

We tend to think of chunkier weights when we think of wovens, but these are not chunkier than the quilting cottons you already use. And they are pretty darn silky. (Did we mention silky?)

We already have plans to use the dot dobby and 1 of the checks to make this adorable half-apron. They can also be used in quilts -- with exception of the dobby prints, which we feel might be too sturdy in a quilt. Great for clothing and accessories, though. Give 'em a try!
