Oh balance...where art thou? I tend to get frustrated when I can't spend enough quality bonding time with my sewing machine. Nagging, non-fun, nirvana-busting tasks around the house abound. For instance, do I change all the furnace filters and weed the flower beds today--or stitch some fun black bats for my fall wreath? I know what I want to do, but cranky Ms. Responsible steps in and vetoes creativity. Again. If you're in the same pickle, check out the encouraging quotes below and share your own comments and ideas with us! (Your e-mail address will not be visible.)

The only place where housework comes before needlework is in the dictionary. -Mary Kurtz
